Easingwold WI November Report...

November is the annual meeting evening for the Easingwold branch of the Women’s Institute, and the leaders were delighted to welcome so many members with the weather being so bad.

The usual business was dealt with quickly. Helen, Ann and Julie were thanked for representing the WI on Remembrance Sunday, and for laying a wreath.

The rota for the Christmas Fair at the Galtres Centre in December is organised, and members were reminded to bring items to sell.

WI members were asked to bring any good quality bras and spectacles to the December meeting to donate to a collection the Easingwold Lions are having.

The group had abandoned their walk this week, due to the bad weather. However, they still enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Easingwold Golf Club.
